Wade Burleson Interview

Thanks Micah and John for your work in doing this project. It is a mission for the Lord, in itself. . .praise God!

The interview with Wade Burleson was excellent, the questions on point, and Burleson's answers on target (as usual) in this Okie's opinion. . .Thanks again and may the Lord continue to richly bless the both of you in this venture.

In His Grace and Peace,
Tom

This is revolutionary! This could become one of the greatest communication tools since ... well, I don't want to go overboard.

Brother Wade was right on target. You are good at this interview thing. I hope you can get more key leaders to interview. Keep it coming!

IMB Missionary from South Asia

What a sharp, articulate spokesman for the Young SBCers.

Oh, and Burleson did a good job too.

Seriously, thanks for this service to those of us at home.

Thanks guys for your work.

Good questions and good video editing on the interview with Pastor Burleson. I was glad to hear his positive outlook on the goings on at Greensboro.

Please try to get an interview with the new President of the SBC before he escapes from Greensboro.

Remember, the quality and tone of what you do this week will determine your ability to secure future interviews with key SBC leaders.

Keep up the good work!

Great stuff!

Wonderful interview on both sides. Keep them coming.

THNKS MICAH AND JOHN !

This is great.
I've been reading on several blogs about the issues being discussed around the IMB. I found yours after following the link on Wade Burleson's, and that after following a link from Alan Cross'. Thanks for giving us this unique insight into what is going on this week. Keep up the good work: "For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God!" 2 Corinthians 9:12

Thank you for the film interviews. I am not able to be in Greensboro, and this is very helpful to me for getting an idea about the tone of what is going on. I really enjoyed the interview with Wade Burleson. However, there was a statement at the beginning of his interview that greatly disturbed me. He said that Al Mohler stated that if the conservative resurgence had not happened, "we would probably be sitting here today debating ordaining homosexual women" (or something to that effect). This statement perpetuates a lie, and I think most of you know that. Didn't the Memphis Declaration speak to the issue of labeling people "liberal" who are really just as conservative as we are but who view some issues differently? (And homosexuality is not the issue that I am not talking about.) Don't the Calvinists among you feel disappointed and disturbed when people attempt to define you incorrectly? If so, you can put yourselves in the shoes of those good men and women who have been maligned in the past and are still being maligned today. I wonder how the statement was received in the break-out session. Was there applause, laughter, loud amens? If so, then I can only feel keen disappointment and disillusionment. Sorry.

I love it, it's about time someone did this. How about some out-takes of SBC life? We need to learn to laugh at ourselves at least a bit. Wiley is on the way to helping us do that.

I have been looking for sites like this for a long time. Thank you! »
